05 Ways to Temporarily Block Your Card in Emergency Situations

In order to protect our customers' assets, Vietcombank has developed various methods for customers to quickly block their cards in case of emergency.

In the event of a lost or stolen card or suspicious or fraudulent transactions, customers can proactively temporarily block their cards through the following methods:

Method 1	Lock card on VCB Digibank	Login to VCB Digibank >> Manage cards >> Lock card.
Method 2	Send SMS using the format	Lock all cards at VCB	VCB KT TOANBO
		Lock all Visa card	VCB KT VISA
		Lock all Master card	VCB KT MASTER
		Lock all Amex card	VCB KT AMEX
		Lock all JCB card	VCB KT JCB
		Lock all Unionpay card	VCB KT UNIONPAY
		Lock all Domestic card	VCB KT NOIDIA
		Note: In case you don't remember the specific format, please compose a message using the format VCB HELP and send it to the hotline 6167 for guidance. Your card will only be successfully temporarily locked when you receive a response message with the content 'Your card has been temporarily locked.
Method 3	Call hotline 1900545413	Customers can lock their cards by calling the number 1900545413 >> Press key 1 >> 1 >> 1 and follow the instructions.
Method 4	Call Customer Care Centre 24/7	Customers can connect with support staff by calling the hotline 1900545413 and request to lock their card.
Method 5	At Vietcombank's branches and offices nationwide	Customers can directly visit Vietcombank's branches to request card locking.

"Vietcombank encourages customers to lock their cards through the VCB Digibank digital banking platform or via SMS to ensure the card is locked quickly.

Once customers have determined that their card is secure, they can unlock it for immediate use on VCB Digibank (by logging into VCB Digibank >> Card Services >> Unlock Card) or by visiting Vietcombank's branches nationwide.
