A platform for innovation and digital transformation across the banking industry

Organised by the Vietnam Banking Trade Union, the 2026 competition carried the theme “Proactive Digitalisation – Breaking Through to the Future.” The event attracted 32 competing teams representing credit institutions and units affiliated with the State Bank of Vietnam from across the country.

After advancing through three highly competitive rounds, the Vietcombank team distinguished itself with exceptional expertise, digital thinking, and practical problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrating confidence, consistency, and strong team spirit throughout the contest, the team impressed the judging panel and emerged as the overall champion of the competition.

Competition results reflect the industry’s digital transformation momentum

Alongside Vietcombank’s remarkable achievement, many other institutions across the banking sector were also recognised for their outstanding performances:

- First prize: Sacombank

- Second prize: BIDV and TPBank

- Third prize: Agribank, HDBank, and CIC

- Consolation prize: DIV, VietinBank, LPBank, MSB, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking.

The competition also honoured outstanding participants with several thematic awards, including the Digital Culture Award (7 units), Digital Creativity Award (7 units), and Digital Literacy Award (6 units).
