On August 28, 2024, Vietcombank held a ceremony to announce the personnel mobilization and appointment of new leaders within the Internal Inspection Departments of its headquarter’s Internal Inspection Board.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Quang Vinh, Deputy General Director in charge of the Executive Board; Mrs. Dinh Thi Thai, Head of the Internal Inspection Board; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Director of Legal and Compliance; as well as representatives from various departments and offices at the head office. Also present were leaders and staff from the headquarter’s Internal Inspection Board, as well as from regional Internal Inspection Departments across Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and connecting branches in Nghe An, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
On September 6, 2023, and April 26, 2024, Vietcombank's Board of Directors issued two decisions concerning the model, organization, and operation of the Internal Inspection Board at the head office. Following this reorganization, the Internal Inspection Department now comprises the head office departments and eight regional Internal Inspection Departments.
During the ceremony, Vietcombank announced 14 decisions regarding the mobilisation and appointment of officers within the Internal Inspection Board, effective from August 28, 2024.

During the ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Vinh, Deputy General Director in charge of the Vietcombank's Executive Board, extended his congratulations to the 14 officers appointed by the Board of Directors. He emphasized the importance of the reorganization and outlined five key priorities for the Internal Inspection Board: enhancing achieved results, leveraging technology and digital transformation in inspection and supervision, improving communication skills, identifying risks early and remotely, and balancing inspection activities with business operations.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Director of the Legal and Compliance Department, congratulated the 14 newly appointed officers. She encouraged them to cultivate personal qualities such as honesty, integrity, and dedication, and to focus on their professional development. Mrs. Hong Van emphasized the importance of contributing to a cohesive and unified Internal Inspection team
Mr. Pham Hong Dung, the new Head of the Internal Inspection Department for the Southeast region (Region 7), spoke on behalf of the 14 newly transferred and appointed officers to formally accept their new roles
