On August 2, 2024, at the Ministry of Health headquarter, Vietcombank and the ministry jointly coordinated a program to present a VND5 billion social security package aimed at storm and flood prevention, disaster readiness, search and rescue efforts, and disease management to the ministry's office.
Among the attendees, representing the Ministry of Health, were Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, the Deputy Minister, Mr. Ha Anh Duc, the Chief of Staff, and other department leaders from the ministry's office.

Among the representatives from Vietcombank were Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, the Deputy General Director; Mr. Dang Kien Dinh, the Director of the Vietcombank Transaction Office; Ms. Dinh Phuong Thu Ha, the Director of the Corporate Customer Department; along with leaders from various departments and offices at both the Head Office and Transaction Office Branches.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, the Deputy General Director of Vietcombank, highlighted that the social security donation program held on August 2 reaffirmed Vietcombank's dedication and accountability to the community. He emphasized, "Vietcombank is proud to collaborate and support the Ministry of Health in safeguarding, nurturing, and enhancing public health."

Vietcombank has consistently stood alongside the Ministry of Health and the healthcare sector in various endeavors. From 2020 to the present, Vietcombank has pledged and financed nearly VND200 billion to medical institutions nationwide. This support aims to enhance and refurbish medical facilities, supply medical equipment, and align with the Ministry of Health in executing the non-cash payment development initiative in Vietnam for the 2021-2025 period, as per the Prime Minister's directive. Presently, Vietcombank offers cutting-edge payment solutions to nearly 500 hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country, including major tertiary hospitals, thereby boosting the operational efficiency of these establishments.
