This is an important step for Vietcombank in applying modern technology to optimize online shopping experiences and enhance security for customers.

Click to Pay is an online payment solution based on EMVCo's global standards. With this feature, Vietcombank Visa cardholders can complete shopping transactions at online merchants displaying the Click to Pay logo worldwide without having to manually enter card information (such as card number, expiration date) for each transaction.

Users simply need to access their saved card list via their registered phone number and authenticate using an OTP code (for first-time use), significantly shortening payment time and minimizing the risk of errors and information leaks compared to the traditional method of entering card information each time at different online payment acceptance points.

Superior security with Tokenization encryption technology.

Information security is a top priority for Vietcombank. The Click to Pay feature utilizes Visa Token Service (VTS) , replacing sensitive card information with digital identifiers (tokens). This technology helps protect customer information from theft during transactions, while also supporting higher online transaction approval rates and minimizing fraud.

Easy to activate and manage on VCB Digibank

Vietcombank offers maximum convenience to customers by integrating Click to Pay functionality directly into the VCB Digibank app.

• Automatic setup: Newly issued Visa cards through VCB Digibank will automatically have the Click to Pay feature enabled as soon as the card is successfully activated.
  
• Proactive registration/cancellation: For existing cardholders, customers can easily register or cancel the Click to Pay feature for each specific card on the VCB Digibank app.
