Vietcombank has recently partnered with The Heart Institute of Ho Chi Minh city to provide an online payment service, allowing patients and their families to pay for hospital fees and medical services by scanning a QR code on the hospital bill, eliminating the need to carry cash.
Customers can use the VCB Digibank app or the mobile banking apps of other banks affiliated with Vietcombank to scan the QR code and complete the transaction, as follows:

• Step 1: Customers register for medical treatment at the hospital. A QR code is generated and printed on the medical bill.
• Step 2: Customers log into VCB Digibank or another bank's mobile banking app and select the "Pay with QR code" feature.
• Step 3: Customers scan the QR code on the medical bill.
• Step 4: The app displays the bill information that the customer needs to pay.
• Step 5: Customers check the information, confirm the transaction following the app's instructions, and receive the transaction result.

Currently, customers (patients and their families) are exempt from fees when paying for medical services by scanning the QR code.

The collaboration between Vietcombank and The Heart Institute of Ho Chi Minh city brings a fast and simple payment method for patients and their families, shortening the time for procedures and promoting cashless payments in line with the direction of the Government and the State Bank.
