Vietcombank is continuing its partnership with the “Together, Vietnam Moves Forward” programme in 2026, following its participation in last year's campaign organised by Nhân Dân Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security.

This year's campaign carries the message “10 billion green steps – Vietcombank by your side”, building on the “1 billion green steps” campaign launched in 2025.

Activities will take place on August 29 and 30, with the main event being a nationwide simultaneous walk starting at 6am on August 30 in 34 provinces and cities. Hà Nội will serve as the central venue.

This is the second consecutive year Vietcombank has joined the programme.

The bank said the “10 billion green steps” message expands the meaning of each step taken - promoting healthier lifestyles, a greener environment and greater support for communities.

Rewards for new VCB Digibank customers

As part of the campaign, Vietcombank is running a nationwide promotion from August 18 to September 2, 2026, for individual customers who register for and activate VCB Digibank for the first time through the programme's landing page.

The first 14,000 customers who meet all eligibility requirements will receive VNĐ100,000. Each eligible customer can receive the reward only once during the promotional period.

To participate, customers must complete three steps:

- Register through the programme's landing page.

- Register for and activate VCB Digibank for the first time online using eKYC authentication.

- Check the notification on VCB Digibank after successful activation.

Eligible customers can choose to receive the VNĐ100,000 reward in their Vietcombank payment account or donate the full amount to the Vietnam Children's Fund.

Every step can create social value

In 2026, Vietcombank is expanding community participation through a mechanism that doubles registered steps and converts them into social welfare support.

Customers who register for the 2026 campaign through the programme's landing page will have their recorded steps doubled on the system.

At the same time, Vietcombank will convert each recorded step into a VNĐ1 contribution to social welfare activities, with total contributions capped at VNĐ3 billion.

The funds will support disadvantaged students during the 2026-27 school year.

The initiative gives participants another way to contribute directly. Customers can make donations to the following account:

- Purpose: Supporting disadvantaged students who strive to overcome difficulties

Through the programme, Vietcombank is linking personal health and community participation with social welfare, while continuing its partnership with “Together, Vietnam Moves Forward” for a second year.
