According to the Brand Finance Banking 500 2026 report released by leading global brand valuation firm Brand Finance, Vietcombank has once again been recognised as the most valuable banking brand in Vietnam. Notably, it also ranks third among the strongest banking brands worldwide.
The bank achieved a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 95.3 and maintained its AAA+ rating, the highest possible level for brand strength. With this global third-place ranking, Vietcombank is also the only Vietnamese bank to make it into the world’s Top 10 strongest banking brands.

This marks the second consecutive year that Vietcombank has remained among the global leaders in brand strength. In the 2025 Banking 500 ranking, the bank was placed fourth worldwide, and in 2026 it moved up one position to secure third place.
In addition to brand strength, Brand Finance also released its ranking of the world’s 500 most valuable banking brands. In this list, Vietcombank’s brand value reached US$2.5 billion, a 7 per cent increase year-over-year, placing it 134th globally.
According to Brand Finance, brand value rankings often reflect a bank’s market size and total assets, while the BSI score measures reputation, customer trust, and the effectiveness of brand strategy. With a score of 95.3, Vietcombank is firmly positioned among the strongest banking brands in the world - an impressive achievement amid increasingly intense global financial competition.
Brand Finance noted that this success highlights the effectiveness of Vietcombank’s long-term sustainable development strategy. Key factors include preferential credit programs, supportive interest rate policies for businesses, and customer-focused financial initiatives. Together, these efforts have strengthened market confidence and enhanced the bank’s brand recognition.
