Speaking at the event, Ho Van Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietcombank highlighted the significance of the conference and acknowledged the important contributions of the national credit information system, led by the CIC, to the safe and effective operation of the banking sector. He reaffirmed Vietcombank’s consistent commitment to credit growth aligned with safety, efficiency and sustainability, with risk management, digital transformation and enhanced data capabilities serving as key foundations.
In 2025, Vietcombank continued to work closely with the CIC to access customer credit information through both Host-to-Host connections and the CIC website. To ensure comprehensive and accurate data retrieval via the Host-to-Host channel, the bank introduced new products on its internal credit information system, expanding the scope of accessible information and diversifying its services.
With a total of 2.3 million credit information inquiries made through the CIC in 2025, Vietcombank contributed significantly to improving the centre’s overall operational efficiency. In 2026, the bank plans to further step up its use of CIC data, maximising its value to support business operations and governance activities.
Alongside information utilisation, Vietcombank has consistently recognised its responsibility to provide full, accurate and timely credit information to the CIC. During 2025, with the centre’s support and close coordination, the bank’s staff worked intensively to develop and refine reporting programmes within a short timeframe, ensuring on-schedule delivery and high-quality, reliable reports.
At the conference, the CIC announced decisions by its General Director to commend credit institutions with strong performance in credit information activities. Vietcombank was named among five institutions recognised as “Outstanding credit institutions in credit information activities in 2025”.
Notably, this marks the fourth consecutive year that Vietcombank has received the prestigious title. In addition to the main award, the bank was also honoured with the supplementary distinction of “Outstanding unit in credit information reporting 2025”, reaffirming its leading role in data governance and transparency within the banking system.
