On December 19, 2025, Vietcombank held an inauguration ceremony for two key projects in Bắc Ninh to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Việt Nam. The projects include the Vietcombank Digitalisation and Document Archiving Centre combined with a cultural and sports facility in Bắc Ninh, and the branch digitalisation project featuring the VCB Tablet solution.

Both projects are invested in, researched and developed directly by Vietcombank on a unified digital platform. The event was organised in parallel with the nationwide launch, inauguration and technical opening of 234 projects and works commemorating the 14th National Party Congress, connected across 79 locations nationwide.

In 2020, the Bắc Ninh provincial People’s Committee approved Vietcombank’s investment policy for the construction of the Vietcombank Bắc Ninh headquarters and the Digitalisation and Document Archiving Centre, integrated with a cultural and sports facility, located at Ngã Sáu intersection in Đại Phúc Ward, Bắc Ninh City. Based on this approval, Vietcombank gradually implemented the overall master plan for the complex, in which the digitalisation centre and document archive represent a strategic, long-term investment. The centre is built on a land area of nearly 9,200 square metres and consists of a 10-storey building.

For the branch digitalisation project using the VCB Tablet solution, Vietcombank adopted a long-term vision, ensuring flexible scalability, multilingual capability and product expansion, ready to support both domestic and international operations. With a total investment of more than VNĐ250 billion, the project completed its first phase in December 2025. Through this initiative, Vietcombank has progressively digitised its entire counter-based operations. The integration of VNeID and the National Population Database has helped cut transaction processing time by around 70 per cent and reduce risks in online transactions by more than 75 per cent, significantly enhancing safety, transparency and legal compliance.

Their completion and inauguration in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress is meaningful not only in terms of timing, but also in demonstrating Vietcombank’s political commitment and proactive spirit in emulation and achievement. The projects reaffirm Vietcombank’s strong commitment to continuing to work alongside the Party, the State and the Government, maintaining its position as a leading bank in digital transformation and innovation, and pursuing efficient, sustainable, and people-centred development.
