Vietcombank successfully holds 7th Trade Union Congress for the 2025–30 term, marking another proud milestone

On December 5, 2025, Vietcombank solemnly convened its 7th Trade Union Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure. This is an important political event and a major occasion for trade union members, employees and the entire Vietcombank Trade Union organisation.

A cultural performance opened the Congress

Mr Hồng Quang, Chairman of the Vietcombank Trade Union, delivered the opening remarks


Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Việt Nam Phạm Tiến Dũng addressed the Congress, noting: “The Vietcombank Trade Union has affirmed its role and position as a unifying centre that rallies the strength of the entire Vietcombank system, fulfils assigned political and business tasks, and protects the legitimate rights and interests of employees across the network, contributing to the overall performance of the banking sector"

Vietcombank Party Secretary and Chairman Nguyễn Thanh Tùng also delivered guidance at the Congress: “The Vietcombank Trade Union not only cares for employees but also has the mission of awakening the best in every Vietcombank individual. And when 24,000 Vietcombank people move forward together, we will enter the new term with renewed energy, motivation and achievements—worthy of our position as the nation’s leading bank"

The Congress elected 22 members to the 7th Executive Committee of the Vietcombank Trade Union, as well as 40 official delegates and six alternates to attend the 8th Việt Nam Banking Trade Union Congress.

The 7th Standing Committee comprises seven members. Mr Hồng Quang was elected Chairman of the Vietcombank Trade Union; Ms Lê Thị Thu Hà and Mr Ngô Đức Bình were elected Vice Chairpersons, with Ms Lê Thị Thu Hà assigned as Standing Vice Chairwoman. The meeting also elected a four-member Inspection Committee.
