On September 27, 2025, the Party Committee of Vietcombank organised a “return to the roots” programme combined with social welfare activities in Tây Ninh Province.

As part of the programme, the delegation offered incense in commemoration of President Hồ Chí Minh and fallen heroes at the Special National Relic Site of the Central Office for South Việt Nam

The group also visited the exhibition house within the historic Central Office for South Việt Nam site, which preserves memories of the nation’s resistance. Among them were records of the “Special Finance Committee” (N.2683), the “Banking and Credit Committee” (R-C32), and their close coordination with Vietcombank’s “Special Foreign Currency Fund” (B.29), which provided vital resources to the southern battlefield during the resistance war against the US

The delegation toured historical workplaces of senior leaders, including Nguyễn Văn Linh, Nguyễn Chí Thanh, and Võ Văn Kiệt, and other important landmarks within the relic site

On this occasion, Vietcombank presented a symbolic donation of VNĐ5 billion to support social welfare in Tây Ninh

Speaking at the event, Nguyễn Danh Phương emphasised Vietcombank’s commitment: “We aim to help build a solid foundation for high-quality human resources while improving people’s livelihoods and health. We regard health as the most valuable asset of every individual and of society as a whole, in line with the spirit of the Politburo’s Resolutions.”

A total of 20 gift packages were presented to poor households and families under preferential policies in Tây Ninh

The delegation also offered incense at the Bến Dược Memorial Temple
