After becoming the first bank in Vietnam to deploy cross-border QR payments in more than 50 countries, Vietcombank continues to expand the service to two popular destinations among Vietnamese travelers in Asia: Japan and Hong Kong.
The service is implemented through integration with the Alipay+ network — a leading global cross-border payment platform with over 150 million acceptance points in more than 50 countries. In Japan and Hong Kong, QR codes are increasingly becoming a popular payment method at restaurants, convenience stores, shopping centers, and tourist attractions — and now, you can simply scan and pay directly using VCB Digibank.
