Tap MeGO - Ride the Metro: get up to 50% cashback on Hanoi Metro fares with your Vietcombank Visa MeGO card

From 26 August 2026 to 31 December 2026, Vietcombank introduces the “Tap MeGO - Ride the Metro” promotion for holders of the Vietcombank Visa Hanoi Metro – MeGO international debit card (VCB MeGO card) when paying for metro fares on Hanoi Metro lines.

Cashback offer:

- 50% cashback on valid transactions when paying for single-ride or time-based tickets (day pass, monthly pass) on Hanoi Metro lines with a VCB MeGO card (contactless payment at ticket gates or payment via the Hanoi METRO app).

- Maximum cashback of VND 140,000 per customer per reward period, up to VND 560,000 per customer for the entire program.

- The program runs across 4 reward periods: Period 1 (26 Aug – 30 Sep 2026), Period 2 (1 – 31 Oct 2026), Period 3 (1 – 30 Nov 2026), Period 4 (1 – 31 Dec 2026).

- Total program budget: up to VND 1,200,000,000.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Applies to payments for single-ride or time-based tickets on Hanoi Metro lines made with a valid VCB MeGO card (not applicable to payments via MoMo Wallet, ShopeePay, VNPT Money, etc. on the Hanoi METRO app).

- Vietcombank will credit the cashback to the VND payment account linked to the card within 45 working days from the end of each reward period.
