On September 24, 2025, Vietcombank, in collaboration with the Việt Nam National Students’ Association, held a ceremony to award “Bright Future” scholarships to outstanding students for the 2024-2025 academic year.

At the event, Nguyễn Danh Phương, Deputy Secretary of Vietcombank’s Party Committee, presented a symbolic cheque worth VNĐ6 billion to Lâm Tùng, Standing Vice President of the Việt Nam National Students’ Association and Director of the Việt Nam Student Support and Development Center

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyễn Danh Phương said: “We have always believed that every scholarship awarded is a door to opportunity. We hope these scholarships inspire students to nurture their dreams and pursue their studies without interruption. Scholarship recipients share their experiences and achievements during an exchange session

Launched in March 2023, Vietcombank’s “Bright Future” Fund has become one of its most notable social responsibility initiatives. The fund was first introduced through the “Millions of Hearts – One Trust” charity run, which attracted tens of thousands of participants. Each kilometre completed by runners was converted into a contribution to the fund. Over three editions, the event has raised the equivalent of more than VNĐ32 billion.

To ensure effective implementation, Vietcombank has signed a cooperation agreement with the Central Youth Union to expand the programme nationwide. Since its inception, Vietcombank and its partners have awarded 4,374 scholarships worth a total of VNĐ16.2 billion. In particular, the “Bright Future” Scholarship programme granted 572 scholarships valued at nearly VNĐ6 billion in the 2023-2024 academic year, and 682 scholarships, also worth nearly VNĐ6 billion, in the 2024-2025 academic year.
