On October 16, 2025, Vietcombank was honoured by global card organisation Visa with eight major awards, recognising its outstanding achievements and continuous efforts in card payment and digital transformation.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that Vietcombank has received awards from Visa, reaffirming its pioneering position as Vietnam’s leading bank within the global financial ecosystem. The 2025 accolades presented to Vietcombank include the following categories: 

1 - Leadership in Merchant Sales Volume;
2 - Leadership in Commercial Payment Volume ;
3 - Leadership in Mobile Pays Penetration;
4 - Leadership in Debit Cross-Border Payment Volume Growth;
5 - Leadership in Cross-Border Payment Volume;
6 - Outstanding Payment Volume Growth;
7 - Leadership in Debit Payment Volume;
8 - Leadership in Payment Volume.

By the end of 2024, 99 per cent of Vietcombank’s retail transactions were conducted through digital channels, reflecting a strong shift in consumer behaviour and the bank’s commitment to developing a green, modern, and customer-friendly banking model. Its comprehensive digital ecosystem — including VCB Digibank, VCB DigiBiz, VCB CashUp, and VCB iB@nking — now serves tens of millions of individual and corporate customers nationwide.

At the same time, Vietcombank operates more than 121,000 merchant acceptance points and 3,090 ATMs, providing a solid infrastructure foundation for electronic payments. The bank continuously innovates its card products to deliver safe, fast, and convenient experiences for all customers.

Over the years, Vietcombank has been repeatedly recognised by Visa and other international organisations. In 2024, it was named “Best Credit Card Bank in Vietnam” and “Best Wealth Management Bank” by The Asian Banker. Earlier, in 2022, Vietcombank won nine Visa Awards — the highest number of awards among participating banks that year.
