SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Along with fulfilling its duties to the State Budget, stabilising exchange rates that contribute to maintaining the economy’s development during critical changes in the international markets, Vietcombank has participated in many social activities that help strengthening its relationship with localities and effectively serving the Party and State policy on gratitute repayment:

-         Vietcombank puts low-interest-rate 200 billions VND to the Bank for the Poors, sets aside a part of Allowance Fund to support the School for disable and orphan children.

-         Brings up 118 Vietnamese Heroines Mothers by providing 150,000 VND/mother/month.

-         Granted 12 saving passbooks amounted to 2,000,000 VND/passbook for other special cases.

-         Donated 5 billions VND to build houses of love, Memorial for Ben Duoc – Cu Chi revolutionary martyrs and children park in Nha Trang City.

-         Contributes annually more than 100 million VND to the Fund for Vietnamese Children, gifts to the Association of Aged People, supportes the Bank’s retired staff...

-         Helpes people in areas suffering flood, natural calamities....

-         Appeales the whole staff to support An Lao District of Binh Dinh Province in building Secondary School for minority people.
